Phew. Today was finally the premiere of our first short film which I wrote last year. It went fairly well! The audience seemed to like it and they gave very good reviews. People liked the story very much and praised the music and the setting all in all. I’m pleased and content. It’s finally over!
We’re most likely going to put the film online, so I’ll link it here asap.
Buuut well. We’re already working on new films, as you can guess and already have noticed. I didn’t get my script for production but I’m the grip in another film. We’re going to start filming this week already, so I’m gonna have a busy weekend. Luckily, since I’m only doing the lights and stuff, I don’t have to stress over the whole thing. I’m pretty sure our producer and director will be biting their blankets Friday night from excitement.
The main filming will be in two weeks, however. And we’re going abroad for that. Yep, we’ll be going to Estonia for a week, leaving in May 20th.
…Which happens to be my 21st birthday. Hooray.
Well, I’ll be spending my b-day on a 11-hour trip to Saaremaa and the next few days standing on a beach at night, with my period probably going on and all other nice things to remember. I’m actually quite happy about the trip, I think it might be exciting despite all the little details such as no sleep and all that. But yeah, I’ll probably be offline that week even though I’m gonna have my laptop with me.
And then there’s summer vacation~ I already got a kind of summer job, but it’s a gig job (doesn’t include killing people, don’t worry) so it doesn’t pay that well and I don’t know how much I’ll have those gigs. I got a job interview for a gardening work (!) next week though. I just want some cash so I could do fun stuff and save some money for other things, too.
Just wanted to mention, so you won’t be worried when I’ll suddenly disappear on my birthday.
